CNK Xiamen R&D Center Hosts Longyan-Xiamen Leadership Inspection, Fuels New Chapter in Cross-City Sci-Tech Collaboration

Xiamen, August 18, 2023 – The Longyan-Xiamen Mountain-Sea Cooperation Science and Innovation Park officially opened in Xiamen. Marking this significant milestone for the regional innovation hub, a delegation led by Zhuang Rongliang, Member of the Standing Committee of Xiamen Municipal Party Committee and Vice Mayor of Xiamen; Yu Hongsheng, Secretary of the Longyan Municipal Party Committee; and Hu Sheng, Deputy Secretary of the Longyan Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Longyan, visited the Xiamen R&D Center of CNK Electronics Co., Ltd. (CNK) – a key anchor tenant – located in Xiamen Software Park Phase III.

During the inspection, leaders toured CNK's Xiamen R&D Center workspace and received detailed briefings on the company's development history, core R&D focus, and future plans. Vice Mayor Zhuang, Secretary Yu, and Mayor Hu commended CNK, as an outstanding Longyan enterprise, for its strategic foresight in being among the first to seize the opportunity by establishing a presence in this "innovation enclave." They fully affirmed CNK's investments and achievements in technological innovation. Leaders encouraged CNK to leverage the superior innovation ecosystem, talent concentration advantages, and "talent enclave" policy benefits of Xiamen Software Park Phase III to deepen core technology R&D and establish its Xiamen center as a powerful engine driving high-quality enterprise growth.

Located at Unit 1403-3, No. 63 Xixi Shanwei Road, Xiamen Torch Hi-Tech Zone (Software Park Phase III), the CNK Xiamen R&D Center is situated within the Longyan-Xiamen Mountain-Sea Cooperation Science and Innovation Park. This park represents a key initiative by Xiamen and Longyan to deepen cross-regional collaboration and pioneer the "Xiamen R&D + Longyan manufacturing" innovation model. Phase I of the park is now operational. Capitalizing on Xiamen's significant advantages in talent, industry, and supporting infrastructure, the park provides a high-level innovation platform for CNK and 26 other leading Longyan enterprises in the first cohort. Collectively, these companies have assembled 731 R&D professionals, generating robust regional innovation momentum.

This leadership inspection signifies not only care and support for CNK's development but also vividly demonstrates the determination of Longyan and Xiamen to implement the requirements of the "Three Strivings" Initiative and jointly advance the high-quality development demonstration zone for the revolutionary old base area of Western Fujian.
